Certificate in Counselling

An article by Nicola Morgan on 17 November 2015 2 CommentsFiled Under: Personal stories

I’m doing a Diploma in Youth Counselling and very interesting it is, too. I’m not planning to be a counsellor but I’m often approached by teenagers in an unofficial counselling situation and I wanted to have some different insights and guidance as to ways to help – and IMG_0101how not to hinder.

It’s an interesting process and way of thinking. Occasionally, I’ve found it frustrating, for a number of reasons which I might blog about when I’ve finished, but I’ve also valued looking at things from new viewpoints and applying different theories to different situations.

And, hooray, I have passed the certificate part so I now have a Certificate in Counselling.

With a piece of paper to prove it.
