FICTION

FLESHMARKET: Historical, regarded as a classic; voted by Teen Titles as one of the top 40 teen reads ever; soon to be on London stage; renowned in schools for overcoming reading reluctance! On the curriculum in Scottish secondary schools and popular in schools throughout UK. Fleshmarket hurls readers into 19th century Edinburgh, to experience the stench, fear and horror of a period before anaesthetic or antiseptic, when the unscrupulous Dr Robert Knox bought the murder victims of Burke and Hare. Suggest 11/12+  £5.99

THE HIGHWAYMAN’S FOOTSTEPS: “Robert Louis Stevenson on caffeine”! Rip-roaring historical adventure, with two young highwaymen, Will and Bess, thrown together with different battles to fight. Linked to The Highwayman poem by Alfred Noyes; selected for Active Literacy Scheme to inspire reading for pleasure for upper primary pupils. History that makes you feel you’re there (and glad you’re not…) Suggest 10/11+ though keen 9s will enjoy  £6.99

THE HIGHWAYMAN’S CURSE: (Sequel to Footsteps, but not necessary to read in order.) Will and Bess find themselves mixed up in terrible results of the Killing Times. Great way to gain insight into gruesome religious conflict in Scotland. Suggest 10/11+ though keen 9s will enjoy  £6.99

WASTED: Multi-award-winning teenage novel for deep thinkers. Winner of Scottish Children’s Book Award, 2012. Topics: chance, fate, philosophy, obsession, guilt – and a great love story (without sex!) Despite the title, this book in no way encourages drink/drugs and is more likely to discourage them. Suggest 13/14+   £6.99

DEATHWATCH: Thriller set in modern Edinburgh. Fourteen-year-old Cat, a talented athlete, is being stalked. Who is the stalker? What does he plan – and why? Will Cat realise before it’s too late? Tense, gripping, emotional and thrilling. Not so much “who dunnit?” as “who’s doing it and why?” Suggest 11/12+  £6.99

NON-FICTION

BLAME MY BRAIN – The Amazing Teenage Brain Revealed: Written for teenagers, devoured by adults. Informative, fascinating, ground-breaking, reassuring, entertaining. Understand yourselves; understand your teenagers. Suggest 11/12+ and adults  £6.99  £5.50

KNOW YOUR BRAIN: How brains work, how each is different, how to make yours work as well as possible. Includes multiple intelligences, quizzes, learning skills/styles, brain boosts, tips on nutrition and health. Suggest 9+   £5.99

WRITE TO BE PUBLISHED: Ruthlessly honest advice on every aspect of becoming published. For any adult serious about writing and prepared to hear the truth. Endorsed by agents, publishers and writing courses and described as “the writers’ bible”. Let the Crabbit Old Bat whip you into shape!           Aimed at adults.  £8.99

HOW TO ORDER:
  1. Email n@nicolamorgan.co.uk, stating which books you’d like and who you’d like them signed to. Include your UK postal address and say whether you’d like to pay by Paypal or cheque. If you’d like extra postcards signed to specific people, let me know.
  2. I will contact you and let you know payment details.
  3. NB If you pay by Paypal, you must have sufficient balance in your Paypal account, otherwise Paypal charge commission; if you use a debit/credit card to pay via Paypal, you’ll need to add extra to cover the commission that Paypal will take, otherwise I will not receive the correct amount. (Approx 4%, and complicated to work out.)

Now, please, please, tell your friends. Selling books is the only way I can carry on writing… And they do make great presents. :)
