Please do not contact me for individual writing or publishing advice – there is masses of free advice on my publishing blog and more in my books for writers. I do manuscript critiques through my consultancy, Pen2Publication, but I charge for this because I’m a professional, it’s very hard work and it’s worth paying for.
NOTE 1: If you email me and ask me to read your book, I won’t reply. I’m sorry. That may sound rude but it means you didn’t read the paragraph above… The reason I won’t reply is not because I’m rude but because I’m too polite and it would take me too long to work out how to say “no” politely.
NOTE 2: I can’t respond to requests for free books. There are no free books – I have to buy them, as all authors do. I am really sorry.
NOTE 3: Sometimes teenagers or parents email me about a worry or stress. I always do my best to help and reassure. However, please remember that I’m not medically qualified so my advice will be based on common sense and everything I’ve learnt from talking to many, many teenagers and parents. Anything you say will be confidential, unless I believe you are in danger, in which case I will ask you to talk to someone qualified to help. I’m not the Samaritans or Childline, just an ordinary, kind (but busy…) person who understands a lot!
If you’ve read and understood the above, please contact me using the form below. I’m really very friendly and helpful but I’m also very busy!
NOTE 4: If you make a mistake when entering your email address, I will not be able to reply! This has happened several times recently, which is very frustrating.
