My advice for writers
I am known as the Crabbit Old Bat for the honesty of my advice on all aspects of publishing and writing, in my blog, books, workshops and lectures. My advice is based on 15 years of being published (90+ books), my work with the Society of Authors, years of reading manuscripts and strong connections with agents, publishers and successful authors, as well as my many years of desperation to be published and my continued fight to remain so. I also have experience of self-publishing. Below are my books on writing and to the right are links to my extensive blog resources and my writing consultancy, Pen2Publication.
How to write the covering letter or query letter to an agent or publisher. Make your book stand out for all the right reasons. Expert advice from an author in touch with the publishing industry. Ebook only, available for all devices including computers.
Do you hate the thought of writing a synopsis? Stress no more! Carole Blake, literary agent and author of From Pitch to Publication, has called this book "pure gold". Ebook only, available for all devices including computers.
Write to be Published, published by Snowbooks Ltd, is recommended by publishers, agents and creative writing courses. Author, blogger and publisher, Scott Pack: “I receive a lot of emails from authors asking for guidance on how to take the next steps to publication. In future I will just point them in the direction of this book.” Available as print and ebook.
Reader, Marc Pimbert, on Amazon: "Nicola Morgan's excellent book Tweet Right is easy to read, funny and downright practical - and all for less than the price of a meal deal. By the time I'd finished reading it I had set up my twitter account and started tweeting, and all without help from the DS and OH! For newbies to the world of twitter I can't recommend it enough." Ebook only, available for all devices including computers.
