Fair Reading is the term I coined to describe what I consider the most ethical way of buying books. It’s a bit like the idea of Fair Trade. Just as Fair Trade is about allowing a producer to benefit properly, Fair Reading is about allowing authors (and publishers) to earn fairly from their work.
